Does your organization conduct performance
evaluations? If so, how often? Why do you think they do this? Are performance
appraisals and evaluations meaningless?
Truth be told, they’re not. They’re intended to
measure your performance and progress in the company. Plus, they’re the main
reference when it comes to deciding which trainings HR or your supervisor
should sign you up with.
If your current organization doesn’t have
performance appraisals (and if you are an HR practitioner), this is the time to
make a case. Most of us have been working from home during the pandemic. Have
you noticed how difficult it is to assess an employee’s daily performance doing
so? How about DTR while working from home? How as it?
